Indian Rupee drops at 66.77 against US Dollar in early Trade


MUMBAI: On Tuesday the Indian Rupee depreciates by 4 paise to 66.77 next to the dollar in near the beginning buy and sell at the Interbank Foreign Exchange market on fresh demand for the American currency from importers. Forex traders conveyed that the power in dollar next to some other currencies abroad weighed on the rupee but a superior commencing in the domestic equity market capped the losses.

The rupee had increased 28 paise next to the American currency to settle at nearly two-month elevated at 66.74 in Monday's buy and sell on unrelenting dollar selling by banks and exporters on hopes of foreign capital inflows into the equity market. On Tuesday the benchmark BSE Sensex improved by 66.94 points, or 0.23 per cent, to 28,070.06 in early buy and sell.
