Exuberant Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh has been chosen as a Laureus Ambassador at an event that took place in Mumbai on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, Yuvraj Singh was proclaimed as the latest member of the Laureus Family. He was selected as the new Ambassador for his outstanding work to make the lives of young people better in the sports field.
35 yrs old all rounder selected as Laureus’ first Indian ambassador. He has been included in the category of Indian Academy members including Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and Kapil Dev.
“It’s an privilege for me to connect with the Laureus Family in India and to check out first-hand the significant work being done to assist young people conquer challenges in their lives,” Yuvraj Singh stated.
“I’m a supporter in the influence of sport and its implausible talent to change lives, it changed mine and I’m looking forward to assisting Laureus in their aim to perk up several others in the coming days,” he affirmed.
Rahul Dravid affirmed, “I’m pleased to greet Yuvraj to the team. Familiar with him as a cricketer and person, I recognize how fervently he believes in the power of sport and how determined he is to give back to those in need.”
“I’m eager to work together with Yuvraj, it would assist young people to conquer aggression, bias and drawback,” he stated.
