Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar gets emotional by reading the story of war veteran and Group Captain (Retd) in the Air Force, Dilip Parulkar. In 1971, he put their best efforts to flee off from a prisoner of war camp in Pakistan.
"Gopi, I and other sportspersons represent the nation, but you (soldiers) protect the nation," Tendulkar asserted while releasing Parulkar's autobiography 'Veerbharari'' in Marathi at a city hotel on Monday.
"This book is a special book. I have played cricket in Pakistan but this innings played by Captain Parulkar will inspire many sportspersons to go out there and win matches," Tendulkar added.
