An Army Major was shot dead in an unexpected check when a jawan phone was seized by the officer

Major Shikhar Thapa of 71 Armed Regiment by and by posted with 8 Rashtriya Rifles endured deadly injuries when a jawan fired two shots from his AK47 rifle from behind.

The jawan was found using the cell phone while being on duty. Amid the duty check by Major Thapa chided the jawan and cautioned of being marched up to following day.

The phone was harmed when it was being appropriated which maddened the jawan. A contention resulted between the officer and the jawan, who at that point shot two bullets at Thapa from behind.
