India has played phenonemously during the India-Zimbawe ODI series. Following an easy 3-0 whitewash in the just concluded three-match One-Day International (ODI) series.
The first T20 match will be played at the Harare Sports Club on Saturday.
Zimbabwe indeed have a star-studded side, with enormous talent. However, there inconsistency and the inability to perform in key clashes has cost them quite a few matches in the past.
The Zimbawe team is all set to start with the opening pair of Hamilton Masakadza and Chamu Chibhabha who showed their best in the last matches.
They would be followed by the veteran Vusi Sibanda, who is again one of the finest T20 player in Zimbabwe and can play good T20 shots, as well as give Zimbabwe an edge in the batting order.
The bowling attack will consist of the skipper himself who will lead the spin department, Cremer, a perfect fit at number eight, followed by Tendai Chatara, who can certainly lead the fast-bowling attack as one of the experienced bowlers in the side.
He should be followed by Donald Tripano and Neville Madziva, who are new to the side, but have a fair record in the domestic circuit, and can chip-in with wickets in the shortest format of the game.
