The India and Australian cricket teams reached to Guwahati on Sunday for the second Twenty20 match that will be held at Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati. Several fan followers of India and Australia team collected at the airport to welcome them. On November 28, 2010 Indian team defeated New Zealand by 40 runs in One Day International matches. Barsapara stadium has a capacity of 37,000 people.
As per the reports, the bookings for game have been done already.
“The day has finally arrived,” Buragohain affirmed during a meeting. He added, “We hope this is just the beginning and there are more to come.”
The teams was amazing as supporters yelled ‘India India’ at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport during the arrival of team by a chartered flight.
Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal will do an official opening of the ACA Barsapara Stadium before the game. The ceremony would be attended by several VVIPs involving governor Jagdish Mukhi.
India has already won 1 game against Australia in the 20-20 games. Now, they will face off each other in Guwahati on 9th October 2017 for the second game. It had recently defeated Australia in the ODI series by 4-1.
