World no 3 in the BWF World Ranking PV Sindhu was thrashed away by fifth-seeded Chinese-American Beiwen Zhang 18-21, 21-11, 20-22 on Sunday in finals of Indian Open tournament.

PV Sindhu and Beiwen Zhang showed their terrific side in the first set of match. But, Zhang’s shot appeared to be quite misleading for Sindhu as she edge past the first set by three points in the game.

Violent Sindhu took a lead in the second set of the match. She clinched the set by 21-11 by attacking shots with disparity to rise against opponent player Beiwen Zhang.

Chinese-American shuttler defeated PV Sindhu with some remarkably delivered net-shots in the third and final set.

PV Sindhu put great efforts and secured five to six points when the score was 11-9. Later, she hit terrific shots to match to the score with opponent player at 19-19.

In the last game, Beiwen Zhang played some striking shots under anxiety to triumph the final set by 22-20.

In the semifinals, World No. 4 Sindhu beat third seed Ratchanok Inthanon, 21-13, 21-15 prior on Saturday.

In Women Singles, she also thrashed away Beatriz Corrales of Spain, 21-12, 19-21, 21-11 in the quarter-finals.
