AGRA: More than 6,000 liters of sharp noticing tainted cooking oil was seized by group of Food Safety and Drug Administration (FSDA) on Tuesday in Agra.
A group of nine individuals from FSDA, drove by assigned officer Vineet Kumar directed an amazement attack at a private plant and godown (Maa Gauri Oil) in Barauli Ahir of Shamshabad street and discovered vast amount of tainted cooking oil being dispatched to various locale of Uttar Pradesh, for example, Mathura, Firozabad, Etah, Agra and others.
As per sustenance security officer Sarvesh Mishra, “We have seized more than 6,000 liters of defiled cooking oil, which will now be send to research center for examination. We had been getting grievances, about adultrated cooking oil been sold in and around Agra.”
Official source asserted: “The oil plant and godown in Barauli was discovered mixing second rate refined soybean oil with top of the line marked mustard oil. For a few weeks they were offering the tainted oil bottles in business sector under their image name (Maa Gauri Oil).
