People commemorate Hanuman Jayanti in India to mark the birth anniversary of Hindu God Hanuman Ji. As per Hindu calendar, this day is commemorated every year on 15th day of the Shukla Paksha.

Hanuman Ji is worshipped by Hindu people across India to show their affection to the Lord Rama. During Hanuman Jayanti, people perform puja in the dawn following a holy bath.
