IIHMR University collaborates with Bhutan-based university to provide health science training

IIMHR University ties up with Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences (KGUMS) of Bhutan to provide health science training to the students of IIHMR, Delhi. This initiative will also help the newly formed health universities in Bhutan.

"Under this five year tie-up programme, IIHMR University will be providing training to the health professionals of Bhutan. Training of Hospital Management, Leadership Development, Faculty Development, Teaching and Training, Technology, Pedagogy and Grant Management are the key modules of this training programme," said chairman of IIHMR University, Dr. S D Gupta

IIHMR collaborated with neighboring nations including Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Myanmar. KGUMS, Bhutan is considered as the main Medical University of Bhutan that provides perfection in HR advancement in restorative and paramedical sciences. 

Under this five-year tie-up program, the experts of Bhutan will give training to the candidates. 

In the training program, the key issues will include Training of Hospital Management, Leadership Development, Faculty Development, Teaching and Training, Technology, Pedagogy and Grant Management
