Brett Lee enchanted everybody amid his India trip two weeks back to advance his introduction film,Unindian, which discharges here today. The media was content with his witty jokes in Hindi while he enchanted fans with his quietude. An extract from his meeting:
For someone who has seen fame and success, what prompted you to start a new innings?
I got a couple of Bollywood offers, but I wasn't ready. I was still playing cricket. Then this Australian movie came along. I had a look at it and loved the script, loved what it stood for, and I thought, this would be a good chance to do my first movie. It was a massive challenge and a wonderful opportunity that I could not pass up.
You've interacted a lot with Indians. Did you learn anything new while working on Unindian?
Probably the Holi Scene. I thought they are saying HOLY when they were talking about Holi. I never knew throwing colours would be so much fun!
You have a huge fan following in India. How does it feel to have your film releasing here?
The film is made by an Indian. After the Australian release, I am happy that my fans in India would be able to watch it. I love the country, I love the culture, and I love the people! Every time I visit India I feel very welcomed.
