She is one actress in Bollywood whose box-office scorecard has not depended on the the male lead of her films, and her versatility has won her fans like megastar Amitabh Bachchan and superstar Aamir Khan. Now she is likely to star with Shah Rukh Khan, but she says the project is at a very premature stage. Rumours have been rife that Shah Rukh and Kangana are going to work in a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film.
Got some information about it, Kangana told media: "Sanjay sir just addressed me about the film, saying that he needs to make it with me and Shah Rukh sir. Be that as it may, it's at an exceptionally untimely stage. It isn't so much that I am working with Shah Rukh sir tomorrow or something to that effect… Along these lines, better believe it, similar to I said, it's at an extremely untimely stage." The performing artist was the work of art for designer Tarun Tahiliani, who hailed off the Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) Winter/Festive 2016 on Tuesday night.
The "Queen" of Bollywood feels lucky to be a piece of such glory. "I think I am exceptionally blessed on the grounds that I get these open doors. It's also a reminder to value things much more than we actually do and to instill that passion and pride for our country which people even in testing times had.
"Rani Lakshmibai, a fiery queen of Jhansi, had taken up arms against the British in 1857 to free her state. Kangana believes the present generation is "lost somewhere" and she feels the movie will serve the purpose of helping people value the freedom. "I do identify with it (her story) obviously… She is a very inspirational woman not just for me, but for so many other people," she added.
