Hyundai rolls out Xcent’s Special Edition to mark company’s 20 years in India


New Delhi. The car manufacturer Hyundai Motor presented a special edition of the Xcent in respect to celebrate and mark brand’s 20 years in India. Coming in two variants i.e. Petrol and diesel, costs Rs6.22 lakh and Rs 7.15 lakh in the ex-showroom of New Delhi respectively.

Based on the S trim, it carries all basic features of regular S variants like body graphics, radiator grille, bootlid spoiler, reflector & chrome garnish and the 20th anniversary celebration emblem. Minor changes in the vehicle’s cabins with a new 6.2-inch touchscreen audio video system and a new sporty black-red seat are seen in the car.

This Hyundai special edition rolled out with bunch of new features is priced at 17000 more than the regular S variant. Being a limited edition, the sub-4 metre sedan continues to showcase the existing engine options- a 1.2 litre, 4-cylinder, Kappa Dual VTVT petrol and a 1.1 litres, three-cylinder, U2 CRDi diesel engine. Both engines come up adjoined to a 6-speed manual gearbox.

While the petrol powertrain of Hyundai Xcent produces 82bhp at 6000rpm and 114 Nm at 4000rpm, the diesel engine develops 82bhp at 6000rpm and 114Nm at 4000rpm.
