Hyderabad: FIR filed against advocate, son for raping and assaulting minor Dalit girl


An FIR has been filed against an advocate and his son for allegedly raping a dalit girl on Wednesday. The reports revealed that the actress got pregnant after she was raped.

The incident took place at the office of advocate M Sudhakar Reddy in Chaitanyapuri area. The age of the girl is 14-15 years. 

The deceased put the charges against Reddy and his 30-year-old son Bharat Reddy for assaulting her several times.

The complaint was lodged at Chaitanyapuri police station on Tuesday. The victim was rescued by the city-based Child Rights Association.

A case has been filed under Indian Penal Code (IPC) section 376 (rape), and other provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and SC and ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, Deputy Commissioner of Police (L B Nagar Zone) Tafseer Iqbal said.

Later, the victim was sent for medical examination, the DCP said.

“We have found their location…efforts are on to nab them soon,” Iqbal said.
