TAIPEI: Taiwanese smartphone maker company HTC has unveiled its premium variant of new cellphone U11+ and U11 Life. The handset comes with edge-to-edge display.
HTC U11+ comes with 6-inch QHD+ bezel less display, glass-metal body, fingerprint scanner on the rear side and on the front, it involves tiny bezels. The handset involve “Edge Sense” feature that permits user to squeeze the phone so as to carry out different tasks.
The cellphone has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 U11+ to protect the screen. It supports octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset, 4GB or 6GB RAM, 64GB or 128GB variant.
The handset boasts 12MP UltraPixel 3 primary camera that comes with f/1.7 aperture. On the front, the cellphone involves 8MP camera that comes with f/2.0 aperture.
Talking about the features of HTC U11+ handset, the smartphone has 3,930mAh battery, “Quick Charge” 3.0 technology. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system (OS) out of the box.
On the other hand, HTC U11 Life cellphone involves a 5.2-inch full HD display, front facing fingerprint scanner. The handset supports -core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset. It has 3GB and 4GB RAM variants.
The smartphone boasts 2,600mAh battery and comes with 16MP camera on the front and back.
U11 Life operates on Android 7.1 Nougat OS and it operates on $349 (approx Rs 23,000) while U11+ handset has a price tag of euro 799 (approx Rs 60,000).
