HTC announced on Thursday that it is all set to unveil HTC 10 Evo smartphone in India in late December.
The company has launched HTC Desire 10 Pro at its New Delhi launch event in India today. Earlier, HTC 10 Evo was unveiled in Taiwan and UK. The price of the smartphone has been fixed at TWD 17,990 (approximately Rs. 38,500) for the 32GB variant and TWD 19,900 (approximately Rs. 43,000) for the 64GB variant.
HTC 10 evo was unveiled in Gunmetal, Silver, and Gold color variants in Taiwan. The smartphone includes USB Type C-enabled headphones and it has a fingerprint scanner.
HTC 10 evo features a 5.5-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5, and sports a water-resistant aluminium build. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box while it has a split-screen view, free unlimited photo storage with Google Photos app, and inbuilt Google Duo video calling app.
It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC, coupled with 3GB of RAM, and comes with 32GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 2TB).
It boasts 16-megapixel rear camera which comes with OIS (optical image stabilisation), 4K video recording, and PDAF (phase detection autofocus). There is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera on-board as well and the smartphone also features screen flash. The HTC 10 evo includes 3200mAh battery and supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 fast charging technology.
