HTC has unveiled new smartphone ‘HTC 10 evo’ in Taiwan on Tuesday. Earlier, HTC 10-series smartphone was launched in US.
The HTC 10 evo will be available in Gunmetal, Silver, and Gold Colour variant. The user can purchase it from Taiwan while the pre order of the smartphone has been started by the company. The 32 GB variant will be available for the users at TWD 17,990 (approximately Rs. 38,500) while the 64GB variant will be priced at TWD 19,900 (approximately Rs. 43,000).
The shipping of HTC 10 evo smartphone will start from November 28 in Taiwan.
Talking about the specifications of the phone, HTC 10 evo includes USB Type C-enabled headphones. The HTC 10 evo smartphone supports HTC BoomSound Adaptive Audio.
It has a 5.5-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and boasts water-resistant aluminium body. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.
HTC 10 evo features split-screen view, free unlimited photo storage with Google Photos app, and inbuilt Google Duo video calling app. The smartphone includes a fingerprint scanner and packs 3GB of RAM and supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 2TB).
Coming to camera specifications, the smartphone has a 16-megapixel rear camera which comes with OIS (optical image stabilisation), 4K video recording, and PDAF (phase detection autofocus). It has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera that includes screen flash. The HTC 10 evo includes a 3200mAh battery and supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0.
