Hot ‘N’ Healthy Garlic Bread!

Use olive oil, butter and garlic to make a healthier garlic bread.

Ingredients:

Potato and Sprouts Sandwich

For garlic bread dough:

¼ cup warm milk

1 tsp dry yeast / any yeast

1 tsp sugar

Pinch of salt

3 cloves garlic, finely chopped

1 tsp oregano

1 tsp unsalted butter, at room temperature

1 cup plain flour / maida / all purpose flour

2 tsp oil

 

For garlic butter:

¼ cup butter, melted

3 cloves garlic, finely chopped

2 tbsp coriander leaves, finely chopped

Some other ingredients:

3 tbsp maida

1 cup mozzarella cheese

4 tsp chili flakes

1 tsp oregano

1 tsp mixed herbs

 

Method:

For making garlic dough:

Firstly, in a large mixing bowl take warm milk, dry yeast and sugar. mix well. And rest it for 5 minutes.

Then add pinch of salt, garlic and oregano.

Now, add butter and maida and start to form the dough. After that, cover the dough with oil and rest it for 2 hours.
Garlic bread recipe:

Punch the dough. Then in a small bowl mix in butter, garlic and coriander leaves.

Spread this prepared garlic butter over the dough evenly.

After that, top the dough with mozzarella cheese. And don’t forget it to season with chili flakes and oregano.

Fold the dough and seal the edges, then brush the folded dough in generous amount of prepared garlic butter.

And yes top it with chili flakes and mixed herbs.

Make marks over bread without cutting them fully.

Bake the dough in preheated oven at 180 degree Celsius for 15 minutes.

After done with baking, take the baked bread out and cut the garlic bread into pieces and serve.

Enjoy it with Mayonnaise!
