Hold another meet on dengue: SC to Kejriwal, Jung


New Delhi: Warning Delhi government against playing any blame game, the Supreme Court on Tuesday directed Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Health Minister Satyendra Jain to hold a meeting with Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung by tomorrow to chalk out a strategy for curbing vector-borne diseases like dengue and chikungunya in the national capital.

“Hold another meet today to discuss the issues… People of Delhi are left to suffer,” the apex court said adding that it was “quiet disappointed" with the outcome of Wednesday’s meeting between Jung, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Health Minister Satyendar Jain and senior officers of Delhi government. According to a municipal report, released on Monday, 2,133 dengue cases have been recorded till October 1.
