At Least 10 pilgrims died and 38 others wounded on Thursday after private bus fell down into the gorge in Himachal Pradesh’s Kangra district.
As per the reports, the bus was going to Chintpurini temple and it was carrying several passengers to reach to the famous Hindu shrine Jwalamukhi near Dhaliara town of Himachal Pradesh.
The wounded were immediately taken to the Tanda Medical College.
Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh articulated sorrow over the matter.
Earlier, a bus met with an accident in the month of May in 2016 that killed atleast seven people belonging from Amritsar and injured many others. They were coming back home after paying worship at the Jwalamukhi temple.
Kangra superintendent of police Sanjeev Gandhi stated, after the incident rescuers reached to the spot to evacuate people.
The dead people are yet to be found, Dharamsala Superintendent of Police S Gandhi stated.
