New Delhi. Prices of petrol and diesel have hiked again with a raise of 83 paisa on petrol and Rs. 1.16 per litre on diesel by the State-owned companies. So petrol and diesel are at Rs63.02 & Rs 51.67 per litre in the national capital Delhi with effective from Monday midnight.
Earlier three oil companies Bharat Petroleum, Hindustan Petroleum and Indian Oil raised both fuel prices in May due to which Petrol increased by 1.06 rupee to Rs 62.19 per litre and diesel hiked by 2.94 rupee to Rs 50.95 per litre. Companies cut the prices by 74 paisa in petrol and 1.30 rupee in diesel on 16
PSU’s oil companies review the fuel prices every fortnight in respect to the international crude oil prices, for which companies has pointed month’s 1st and 16th day. Rupee-dollar exchange rates are also reviewed and kept in mind.
