Hero MotoCorp Q1 net profit raises 3.5% to Rs 914 crore


New Delhi: Nations two-wheeler producer Hero MotoCorp today posted a 3.5 percent raise in consolidated net profit in the April-June quarter to Rs 914 crore against Rs 883 crore throughout the similar period previous year.

The corporation’s revenue raise about 7.5 percent to Rs 8,744.6 crore next to Rs 8,131 crore on yearly basis. The corporation on operational level posted an earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of Rs 1,296 crore, an augment of about 5.4 percent against Rs 1,230 crore in the April-June quarter of 2016.

For now, the operating margin reaches at 16.3 percent against 16.6 percent on YoY. Realization per unit was superior by 1.4 percent at Rs 43,005 against Rs 42,391 crore on YoY. Pawan Munjal, Chairman, Managing Director and CEO of Hero MotoCorp has also further stated that, in the first three months of this fiscal, our domestic motorcycle market share by clocking all time superior sales in the quarter.

The expansion in the domestic market was aided by an enhancement in overall market response and robust demand for our range of two-wheelers. On Tuesday at the end of hours, the stock was quoting at Rs 3,706.85, up Rs 15.70, or 0.43 percent on the BSE.
