Heavy to very heavy rains in parts of coastal Tamil Nadu and Puducherry have been predicted by The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Chennai on Thursday and Friday.
Kerala and interior regions of Tamil Nadu are also likely to receive isolated heavy rains in the next two days, IMD was quoted as saying in a release.
A despondency has framed over the southeast Bay of Bengal and it is probably going to heighten into a profound misery or cyclonic tempest and is relied upon to cross north Tamil Nadu and the Puducherry drift on December 2.
Thus, squally winds would start and win along the Tamil Nadu and Puducherry coasts, the IMD said.
South inside Karnataka, seaside Andhra and Rayalaseema districts are likewise liable to experience overwhelming showers on December 2, it said.
