PATNA: Heavy rains lashed the state capital city, deadening typical existence with a few regions staying submerged in knee-profound water today.
"We have gotten more than 100 mm precipitation in the city since the previous evening accordingly a few areas stay waterlogged much to the drawback of the general population," Patna Municipal Commissioner Abhishek Singh told Media .
The regions like Gardanibagh, Patel Nagar, Rajvanshi Nagar, Adalatganj, Kankerbagh and Rajendra Nagar were most exceedingly bad influenced with waterlogging, he said.
Mr Singh said that 37 pumps with the Patna Municipal Corporation (PMC) had been squeezed to administration to deplete out the downpour water.
It would take three-four hours to deplete out downpour water, he said, including that if necessary expansion pumps would be squeezed into administration for the reason.
