The financial related capital has been seeing heavy rain since last Saturday and the city is relied upon to get receive heavy rainfall for the following couple of days. The Skymet Weather figure said that alongside heavy rains, Mumbai will witness solid winds and thunderstorm.
Because of perpetual rainfall, water-logging has been accounted for in some low-lying zones of Mumbai — Dadar, Kurla, Sion, Thane, Andheri, Ghatkopar, and numerous others. Water-logging has influenced the traffic movement in the city. Also, the unrepaired potholes are just adding to individuals’ burdens.
The nonstop rainfall has influenced the lifeline of the city, i.e. Mumbai local. Trains on the central line of the city are running 20-25 minutes late since morning.
Skymet Weather has expressed that the rainfall intensity in Mumbai has expanded as it were. It has anticipated that the city may witness direct to heavy rainfall in the next two-three days.
