Heavy rains lashed Delhi-NCR, several areas waterlogged


NEW DELHI: Massive rain hit National Capital Region Delhi on Thursday morning leading break from the hot and humid conditions.

Many areas in the southern and eastern parts of Delhi involving Patparganj and IP Extension, sectors 12, 16, 18 and 56 in Noida faced the situation of waterlogging.

As per the reports, there were no traffic jam in the capital despite of the heavy rainfall.

In some areas, the rains started in the midnight and lasted till morning.

The highest temperature on Wednesday was recorded around 34 degrees celsius.

People going to work had a sturdy time paddling through waterlogged areas in the National Capital.

Though the rainfall brought down the temperature in Delhi in the last few days but the people suffered lot of difficulties.
