New Delhi: Pramukh Swami Maharaj, the head of Boachasanvasi Akshar Purushottam Sanstha (BAPS), passed away at the age of 95 in Sarangpur, Gujarat on Saturday. Pramukh Swami Maharaj had been under treatment for chest infection for the past few weeks.
The 95-year-old spiritual leader, has contracted chest infection for the second time.
PM Modi took to Twitter saying that he would miss him and his services would be remembered.
Former CM of Gujarat Anandiben Patel said, "Deeply saddened by the demise of His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj.
Interactions with him were true source of inspiration and wisdom!" He was born on December 7, 1921 in Vadodara district.
