Ever young Anil Kapoor’s son and Sonam Kapoor’s brother, truly handsome Harshvardhan Kapoor had debuted in Bollywood earlier this year in ‘Mirziyan’ helmed by Rakesh Omprakash Mehra.
Mirziyan failed at box office but Harsh’s performance was talk of the town. After that project Harsh was reportedly working on ‘Bhavesh Josh’ helmed by Vikramaditya Motwani.
And now the 26 yr old has confirmed that he would star in a biopic of Olympic gold medalist Abhinav Bindra.
Harshvardhan took it to Instagram, he posted picture in which Harsh himself and Abhinav were seen smiling for the camera.
Abhinav Bindra became the first Indian sportsperson to win an individual gold medal at the Olympics. He won the 10 m Air Rifle event at the 2008 games, held in Beijing. He finished fourth at the Rio games in 2016, and announced his retirement soon after.
In his tweet, Harshvardhan wrote, “Beginnings are very special. Especially when you get to play a character that has made the nation proud on world stage. I am stoked to have been chosen to play #AbhinavBindra and hopefully will do justice to the man, the legend!”

Biopic of sportsperson is a big trend this year in bollywood. We have seen various of them like Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, MS Dhoni, Dangal, Mary Kom, etc and some of them are in making this year.
We hope this movie brings Good luck For the Actor.
