GURDASPUR: The Border Security Force (BSF) on Monday opened fire after suspected invasion at Chakri post in Gurdaspur division of Punjab.There was no countering of fire from the Pakistani side, BSF said.
In the interim, an inquiry operation is being directed at Dorangla town in Gurdaspur after some suspected people were spotted there.The firing comes hours after the base camp of the 46 Rashtriya Rifles was attacked by fear terrorist late on Sunday night in Baramulla area of Jammu and Kashmir.
One BSF jawan was slaughtered in the assault andand another is basically harmed.Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh talked about and investigated the security circumstance with National Security Advisor NSA Ajit Doval in after the Baramulla attack .
Mr Singh has additionally addressed Director General, BSF, K.K. Sharma and requesting that he give best medical facilities to the harmed jawan.This is the second occasion of invasion post the Uri fear assault in Jammu and Kashmir in which 19 officers lost their lives.
