GST Council meeting quashed, new date yet to be announced


New Delhi: The goods and services tax (GST) council meeting has been quashed on Friday. The government has not released the new dates for the meeting.

“GST Council meeting on November 25 cancelled; new date yet to be finalized, ” Centre said.

The GST Council meeting has now been wiped out twice in November. It was at first booked on 9-10 November, which was later conceded to 24-25 November. 

The inside and the states had struck an accord on the rates and structure of the goal-oriented assessment change not long ago. The GST chamber concluded a multi-level GST rate structure. 

Things of mass utilization will be demanded 5% and extravagance and sin products will be charged 28% or more cess. In the middle of are two standard rates of 12% and 18%.
