Government wasted paper by moving resolution on river waters, says Sunil Jakhar


AMRITSAR: Alleging that state administration has just attempted to befool individuals of Punjab, state Congress chief representative Sunil Jakhar denounced resolutions by SAD-BJP administering partnership in the state gathering in its uncommon session assembled on Wednesday.

While conversing with reporters, Jakhar claimed, “It has been an aggregate sham ordered by SAD-BJP leaders just to conceal their disappointments, mix-ups and wrong arrangements. These resolutions are not by any means worth the paper on which they are composed, they have even squandered the paper.”

He said there was no reason to meet the exceptional session of Vidhan Sabha. “It was an aggregate worthless practice which has no importance or reason,” he asserted. He said that the choice to return agriculturists arrive procured for development of Satluj-Yamuna Link (SYL) channel could have been finished with a straightforward managerial request.

Jakhar said that there was no compelling reason to present a bill in the Vidhan Sabha to re-vest property rights to agriculturists. “The whole issue was to assume praise by the decision government,” he said, claiming that “Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal needed to wind up”. “Badal needed to wear the mantle of Amarinder Singh who had brought end of water sharing settlements Act,” the Abohar MLA said.

Jakhar affirmed that Akali legislative issues depended on two columns, one of Panth and Pani (water). He affirmed that they (Akalis) had misused both religion and issue of water for their own particular political personal stakes. He asserted that “Akali-BJP government had demonstrated that it was a legislature of brokers which had exchanged waters of Punjab”.

“Who approved Badal to auction water of Punjab? He was given the command to serve individuals of Punjab and not offer it,” he affirmed. Guaranteeing that issue of water was not political for Congress, he said for his gathering, it was the help of Punjab and its future.
