NEW DELHI: Government today said data in regards to the individuals who proclaim their dark cash under the consistence window, finishing September 30, will be kept classified.
As respects concerns in regards to classification of the data recorded under the plan, it is repeated that data contained in a legitimate presentation is secret and should not be shared, an official proclamation said.
"In admiration of assertions recorded with the Commissioner of Income-duty, Centralized Processing Center, Bengaluru [CIT (CPC)], the affirmation should not be imparted even to the jurisdictional Principal Commissioner/Commissioner and installments made under the Scheme might not be noticeable to the jurisdictional officers," it said.
Structure 2 and Form-4 required to be issued in such cases might be framework created by the CPC, it said.
Also, it said, the statement documented with jurisdictional Principal Commissioner or Commissioner should not be imparted to any power inside or outside the division including the jurisdictional Assessing Officer.
"Further, the installments under the Scheme should nor be reflected in 26AS articulation nor can be seen by the Assessing Officer in the Online Tax Accounting System (OLTAS) of the Department in light of a legitimate concern for secrecy," it said.
IDS plan, dispatched by the legislature on June 1 to reveal dark cash, closes on September 30.
According to the IDS office, one can pay charge under the plan with trade out a bank and no enquiry will be made by any bank official.
Under IDS one can tell the truth by paying duty, punishment and cess totalling 45 for each penny of the undisclosed pay.
