Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath demanded an FIR to be filed against the hospital authorities in the Gorakhpur tragedy case that takes the lives of several children.
After Yogi Adtiyanath’s order, the authorities filed the case at Hazratganj Police Station of Lucknow. BRD Medical College and Pushpa Sales have been booked in the case.
FIR involves the names of several people involving Manish Bhandari (Pushpa Sales), Uday Pratap (Audit department), Sanjay (clerk BRD medical college), Sudheer (clerk BRD medical college), Dr Rajeev Mishra (suspended principal), Dr Purnima Shukla, Dr Kafeel Khan (head of Encephalitis ward), Gajanan Jaiswal (chief pharmacist) and Dr Sateesh (head of anesthesia and oxygen supply department).
The case have lodged against the hospital authorities under sections 420, 308, 120b of IPC and Section 15 of IMC.
After the investigation of high-power committee, UP CM Yogi Adityanath demanded that the strict action against must be taken against the ex principal of BRD college and various medical professionals.
On Wednesday, the high-power committee investigating the Gorakhpur hospital tragedy presented its report to the Uttar Pradesh government.
After the incident, he had created the committee to investigate the matter.
