Jaipur: Rajasthan High Court has asked the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) to present the records of all answer keys of the competitive examinations held between 2011-16 and action taken against the subject experts for wrong answer keys.
The division bench of Justice K S Jhaveri and Mahendra Maheshwari's directions came on a petition by Dinesh Chand Tailor. Anoopdhand, counsel for the petitioner said that the RPSC conducted examination for the recruitment of school lecturers in 2012 and issued the model answer key.
They released a revised answer key with the rider that it would not accept any more objections and no more answer key after the issue of second answer key. But it went for a third answer key which resulted in many candidates selected based on second answer key out of the merit list as some answers were revised. This was challenged by the candidates who were selected based on second answer key.
The court asked the RPSC to explain how many times answer keys were issued and revised. What action taken against the so called subject experts whose actions result in much litigation and the steps taken to improve the system. It also welcomes the suggestions from the public to improve the system. The matter has been posted for next hearing on Dec 2.
