Ghaziabad: A man was gunned down on Wednesday as he made efforts to come into the Indian Air Force (IAF) base in Hindon by jumping the wall of the airbase, sources asserted on Wednesday.
As per sources, the man put efforts to scale the wall of the airbase on Tuesday. In spite of caution, the man did not stop.
He lost their lives after being hit in the leg. Later, he was sent to the hospital for treatment.
“I didn’t have anything to eat and just wanted to sit there, won’t do it again,” stated accused Sujeet Kumar, who made efforts to jump over boundary wall of Hindon Air Base.
The matter comes in the middle of security alert on the chances of Pathankot-like attack on defence.
Air Force Station Hindon is the largest air base in Asia and 8th in the world that operates under the Western Air Command (WAC).
