Bihar IAS officer allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the train in Ghaziabad on Thursday.
As per the primary probe, the government railway police (GRP) officials believed that the 2012 batch IAS officer’s head and body were recovered.
GRP officials found the IAS officer as Mukesh Pandey with the assistance of his identification cards and told the Ghaziabad district magistrate and police officers in Ghaziabad about the matter. From the spot, the GRP officers also found a suicide note, on paper in English language. Later, it was sent to the administrative officers.
“The dead officer adorned trouser and sandals, on the other hand, his T-shirt was torn as the speed of train was high. The matter occurred under Ghaziabad GRP jurisdiction and we are waiting for the information from the senior officers,” Randhir Singh, circle officer (GRP), Ghaziabad affirmed.
“Ahead his body was recovered on the railway tracks in Ghaziabad, he had inform a recognized person from Leela Palace Hotel in Delhi. The card of the hotel was also found from the incident site. This call was made to let the other person know that he was committing suicide,” Ghaziabad district magistrate Ministhy S stated.
“We have told his family and forensic teams have come to the area,” the Ghaziabad district magistrate stated.
The reports revealed that the GRP recovered his ID card, suicide note and a notebook from the area. As per sources, Pandey had achieved 14th rank in 2012 civil services examination
