Ghaziabad: 35-yr-old woman kills herself


Ghaziabad: On Sunday night at around 8 pm, a 35-year-old woman supposedly committed suicide by hanging herself from a fan in her house in Sector 2C of Vasundhara, Ghaziabad.

The deceased woman recognized as Smita, was married to NGO worker Ajayendra in 2004 and had a 10-year-old daughter. The police was knowledgeable regarding the incident by the woman’s brother Arun Malik.

Vasundhara police outpost in-charge Ilam Singh conveyed that, the woman’s in-laws stated the door of the room from inside which she hanged herself had been left slightly unhinged and after they directed to push it open but she was dead till then.

The police have not originated any suicide note from the spot. Police officials further conveyed that the report has determined that the woman died of ante-mortem grievance caused by hanging.

Indirapuram SHO Sunil Kumar Dubey also further added that, the woman had undergone a surgery presently for removal of her ovaries. She was not happy from the precedent few years for having failed to conceive another child.
