In a petroleum gas pipeline blast in southwest China’s Guizhou Province, 8 individuals died and 35 harmed on Sunday, nearby experts said.
The blast happened at around 10 am local time in Shazi town in Qinglong County.
The harmed have been sent to hospital for treatment, leading news agency of China announced.
Days of substantial rain set off a landslide, which pounded the pipeline worked by the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) and caused gas spill and following blast.
The fire caused by the blast was put out and residents adjacent were emptied, while more examination proceeds.
