Emraan in a negative role many times on screen in Bollywood films. Be it Murder, or Gangster, or most recently Raaz Reboot, he has always left us super impressed. The actor recently shot for a new photoshoot and has killed it. This photoshoot for a magazine, is by far his best work at showcasing the dark side. Kudos to the makeup and style team for carrying out everything to such perfection. The actor took his passion for horror films a step further by posing as iconic film villains for a cover shoot for the magazine FHM India.
The magazine’s Halloween-themed cover shoot with Hashmi has him in character as famous Hollywood villains: The Joker from The Dark Knight, Hannibal Lecter from Silence of the Lambs, Heisenberg from Breaking Bad and Aro the vampire from Twilight. He unveiled the cover spread of his shoot on Instagram, with caption, “Had a great time shooting this!”
The first look is from the popular crime drama Breaking Bad. The lead character Walter White became a rage overnight with the pilot episode and the popularity of the show had not match over the run of its five seasons. Emraan Hashmi appears in the iconic yellow Hazmat suit that Walter used to wear while cooking meth.
Another look is Hannibal Lecter from the popular film Silence of the Lambs, and TV show Hannibal. The mad doctor. He is a forensic scientist who is a cannibalistic serial killer by night. Emraan dons the famous restrain mask and straight jacket for the picture. Scary!
Then the best one. Joker from The Dark Knight. Emraan recreates the iconic character played by Heath Ledger and pretty much nails it. The Joker scene has Hashmi channel Heath Ledger’s Joker but his hair colour seems more similar to Jared Leto’s, inSuicide Squad.
Also there is a character from Twilight apparently! Why? We think they were going for Dracula but something went wrong? We can only hope they did not just put Twilight villain in the league of these iconic bad men. Anyway, the vampire look was also pretty scary.
Next Emraan will be seen in Tigers, Badshaho and Captain Nawab.
Tigers is based on a real-life story of a salesman working the pharmaceutical industry in Pakistan; Baadshaho is an action thriller also starring Ajay Devgn, Esha Gupta and Captain Nawab is an upcoming action film, which also marks Emraan Hashmi’s debut production under his home banner.
