In an objection held up through his legal counselor, Mr. Alagiri said a message shared on long range informal communication site Facebook had said: “The deferment of nearby body decision has just delayed the annihilation of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam in neighborhood body surveys.”

He said this was generally shared by numerous and it showed up as though he was tending to a gathering of correspondents. The same was broadcast by a private news channel. Mr. Alagiri said he was neither drawn closer by any columnist nor did he make any remark on the delay of surveys. He denied putting forth any such expression against the DMK .

“This slanderous news material was spread on online networking with ulterior and malignant thought process to stigmatize me and to harm my political profession and individual life. My steadfastness to my dad M. Karunanidhi is obvious. This news thing was made just with an insidious thought process to malign me and my celebrated father,” he said, and encouraged the police to convey the bastards to book.
