Five paramilitary troopers wounded in militant attack in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir


The militant attack took place on Monday by the security forces which killed around five paramilitary troopers.

Curfew remain continues for second day in Kishtwar

A grenade was thrown by the militants at a road opening party of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) near Wanpoh village of Kulgam, some 60 km south of Srinagar, police said.

In the attack, five CRPF men got injured and were admitted to a hospital.

The death toll has reached to 90 since the killing of Hizbul Mujahideen Commander Burhan Wani on July 8. The reports revealed that Kulgam district is the worst affected region. Most of the deaths in the unrest have been held in Kulgam.
