A fire broke out up industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s Antilia building, a standout amongst the most costly residential properties in the world, tonight, police and community authorities said.
“The burst ejected on the ninth floor and was quenched inside a couple of minutes. There was no major loss of property,” a senior municipal authority said.
“We got a call at 9:04 PM and fire brigade faculty reached the spot at 9:13 PM on the Altamont Road,” said Mahesh Narvekar, Chief Officer, Disaster Management Cell of the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai.
He said the fire was restricted to 4G antenna on the ninth floor.
Mumbai’s chief fire officer Prabhat Rahangdale said the power of the fire was low and with the assistance of security staff, the fire was brought under control.
“A mobile tower on the ninth floor porch burst into flames and to splash it, three fire motors, two stepping stool vehicles and one water tanker were pressed into benefit,” Rahangdale said.
