FIR filed against Sonia Gandhi in Kerala


New Delhi: An FIR is registered against Congress President Sonia Gandhi in Kerala. According to information, the FIR has been registered in terms of the construction by the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee in Thiruvanthapuram and was named Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Development Studies.

According to the petitioner, the land was purchased and registered in the name of Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee. Heather construction was asked to construct a building which was constructed and delivered in 2013 as it had to be inaugurated by the Sonia Gandhi.

The managing partner of heather construction had met Oommen Chandy and Ramesh Chanithala many times and was assured of payment. Yet, approximately Rs 2.80 crore was outstanding.

The notice is to five people which include Congress president in her capacity as the president of the party. Others include Sudheeran, Ramesh Chanithala, Oommen Chandy and Hidur Mohammed. These are members of the governing body of the institute while Hidur is the director of the institute.
