Film Director Anurag Kashyap compared India with North Korea on Udta Punjab storm

The upcoming movie Udta Punjab’s director Anurag Kashyap has lost all his self control with Central Board of Film Certification as they were demanding all references from “Punjab” must be removed from the film, apart from 89 cuts.

He had expressed his anger on twitter and also tagged Prime Minister Modi Ji for the series of tweets which he had tweeted.

Ashok Pandit CBFC member gave a statement and questioned on the committee’s intelligence. The judegement of removing the word “Punjab” from #UdtaPunjab is shameful. Just wondering what would happen if these movies would release now: #MrIndia, #Mumbaimerijaan, #DilliKaThug.

“If there are 89 cuts in #UdtaPunjab, then this movie will lose its impression and basic ethos. One cannot massacre the film by giving so many cuts and saying that you cannot use the name of state. People will laugh at us that you can’t even take the name of place, Pandit told on Monday.
