It's an immediate risk to makers like Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar who take Pakistani performers in their motion pictures. Wouldn't you be able to discover Indian performing artists for your movies? In this 125 crores Indian populace, wouldn't you be able to locate a solitary Indian on-screen character to cast in your movies that you import individuals from a spot like Pakistan, a nation with which we as a whole are confronting an issue? It's not a subtle provocation but rather an immediate risk. We won't permit the arrival of these motion pictures here."

Days after the fact, the chief of the film, Karan had said in regards to the risk, "I comprehend the displeasure and the anguish that encompass us and I sympathize, heart seeps for the lost lives. There is nothing that can legitimize this awful sentiment fear. At that point you are confronted in a circumstance, for example, this (requesting prohibition on Pak artistes). On the off chance that this was really an answer, one would take it… But this is not an answer. I don't trust it is. The bigger powers need to meet up and sort the circumstance and this can't boycott ability or workmanship," he had said.

Talking about how powerless he feels and how Bollywood is an easy objective, he had said, "I feel helpless and frightened while notwithstanding saying this. I totally feel the torment and outrage. On the off chance that my film is focused on as a result of this, it will make me particularly pitiful in light of the fact that my aim was to put out an item out of adoration and that's it… I implore everybody to take a gander at it comprehensively and comprehend the circumstance, that there is a bigger circumstance here and it has nothing to do with banning ability. We should take a gander at it from a bigger point of view and discover the answer."
