Errors found in question paper of NEET Phase II 2016 exam


The students who had appeared for the NEET Phase II 2016 claimed that the question paper had a few mistakes. The exam was held on May 1.

Earlier, the reports revealed that the paper got leaked but later CBSE declined the claims and said it was an attempt made by some unscrupulous elements to cheat the candidates on false promise.

Details of the issue:

1. There were errors in about 3 questions

2. Question 67 of set APW and its corresponding questions in the other sets was wrong

3. Sources said that students were given two correct answers to choose from four options

4. Also, errors have been noted in question 158 in Set A and Physics 24 in set A, where the answers were incorrect according to various coaching centres

5. Candidates might get bonus 8 marks for the wrong question 

6. CBSE will take final decision 

7. Meanwhile, as per the official website of CBSE AIPMT, the answer keys for both the phase of NEET will release on August 7 on its official website.

8. Moreover, this year more than 4.75 lakh candidates registered for the NEET II examination out of which 90 per cent appeared for the examination at 739 centres in 56 cities.

9. Also, the combined results of NEET-I and NEET-II will be declared by August 17.
