England: Heavy fire breaks out in a multi-storey car parking, 1400 cars burnt


During a New Year’s celebration in Liverpool city of England, a fierce fire broke out in a multi-storey car parking, in which hundreds of cars were burnt down, England’s Emergency Services Department reported on Tuesday.

The photographs from the spot have gone viral on the social media that shows remains of burnt vehicles and the accumulated smoke above the building. No casualty has been reported till now.

As per the police, nearly 1,400 cars which were parked in the multi-storey parking were burnt down. According to the officials of fire department, the cause of this casualty might be fire in one of the vehicle.

The building has also suffered a lot due to fire. At the time of casualty, international Horse Show was taking place in Liverpool Echo Arena. The horses were taken to the safe places within the arena. The famous horse show was called off due to massive fire.

Authorities created an emergency protection to assist several people who could not get residence as their cars had been destroyed.

10 died in road mishap in South Mexico

Fire authorities stated two dogs were evacuated from vehicles parked in the building. Close apartments were rescued due to the heavy smolder.
