Emma Watson welcomes Malala Yousafzai to Twitter

A warm welcome starting with one amazing lady then onto the next.

Emma Watson tweeted at young Nobel Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai Tuesday with a cheerful hi.

“Welcome @Malala! It is so exciting to have you on Twitter,” the performer wrote.

As an UN Women Goodwill Ambassador and all around women’s activist warrior, Watson’s work is very much lined up with Yousafzai’s, which concentrates on female education.

The generous activist  has officially shared a thank you for all the warm welcomes.

Overpowered with the approaching positive messages, she joked that she’s happy she held up to join Twitter “AFTER exams!”

In spite of the fact that her account was first made in November of 2012, Yousafzai held up until the point when she graduated high school before tweeting out her initially tweet Friday.

In a thread she posted about her appearance on Twitter, Yousafzai clarified that she will keep battling for young ladies both on and off the social media site, beginning with meeting young ladies in the Middle East, Africa and Latin America one week as part of her #GirlPowerTrip project.
