New Delhi: On Monday as per the reports, Bharatiya Janata Party leader Venkaiah Naidu conveyed a chapter on the 1975 Emergency should be involved in school curriculum. Past Prime Minister Indira Gandhi’s obligation of the Emergency as the “darkest chapter in electoral history”, Naidu conveyed that, today it was being treated a curiosity.
Naidu was addressing audience at a BJP event in Telangana blotching the 42nd anniversary of the Emergency’s annoyance on June 25. His statements pursue Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s remarks on the Emergency in his monthly radio address ‘Mann ki Baat’.
Modi further conveyed that he cannot forget the “black night” that had reasoned damage to economy. Other BJP associates also supported Modi’s report following the Congress criticized his statements and conveyed the Centre had obligatory an “undeclared emergency”.
BJP leader GVL Narasimha Rao has also conveyed that, I think PM Modi’s insertions of the Emergency in his Mann Ki Baat address was a note to the people that we must not forget the black day.
BJP leader Meenakshi Lekhi has also further conveyed that the Congress had no right to point fingers at the Modi administration. Naidu further added that, it is barely remembered by younger generations and only few of them can recite the trauma and afflict stories of that era.
