Earthquake measuring 3.7 on Richter scale hits Delhi, tremors felt in Haryana


New Delhi: India’s capital city and the surrounding areas was rocked by a quake today in the afternoon; while the temblor was not of any high intensity, it caused some people to come out into the open. However, most people did not even know when it happened. At the moment there are no reports of any injuries or damage stemming from this cause.

An earthquake measuring 3.7 on the Richter scale hit and its surrounding areas a little before 3 pm on Monday.

According to reports, the earthquake was measured at a depth of 16 kms.  The epicenter of the quake was Chhajiawas in Haryana.
